Looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join a leading financial services organisation, working within a high-performing Enterprise Architecture team. This is a key role focused on delivering the final phase of a large-scale Azure VMware Solution (AVS) migration (currently 75% complete), while also supporting a wider Azure cloud adoption strategy across a complex, enterprise environment.
- What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the remaining 25% of the AVS migration
- Supporting Azure adoption across IaaS & PaaS services
- Producing HLDs & LLDs and providing hands-on delivery support
- Working across multiple initiatives including DR, backup, networking & cloud connectivity
- Acting as a bridge between architecture, engineering, and enterprise governance
- Troubleshooting performance and functional issues across platforms
- Key experience required:
- Strong background as an Infrastructure / Cloud Architect
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, governance)
- Hands-on experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
- Solid knowledge of hybrid infrastructure & networking (SD-WAN, ExpressRoute, Hub & Spoke)
- Experience with backup & DR solutions (e.g. Commvault, Cohesity, JetStream)
- Ability to produce and present technical designs (HLD/LLD)
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments (desirable)
