Base pay range
The role involves ensuring accurate data entry into processing systems, managing and controlling payments, overseeing customer accounts, and ensuring timely delivery while providing excellent customer service. The position will involve responding to inquiries and requests from multinational clients.
Responsibilities
- Process and validate domestic and international payments (BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT, FPS, etc.), ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Manage customer accounts, handle inquiries, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Oversee operational reports, including compensation, overdraft, and clearing reports, taking necessary actions for any discrepancies.
- Administer credit card data, credit limits, and manage manual entries, ensuring correct processing.
- Monitor and manage non-automated payments, sanctions alerts, and reconciliation of bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the client onboarding process, ensuring accurate entry of customer data and verifying account terms and fixed-term deposits.
- Collaborate across departments, act as a liaison for BS Online-related issues, and provide coverage for colleagues as needed.
Requirements
- Banking Operations & Payments: 1+ year experience in UK banking, specifically in payments (BACS, SWIFT, FPS, Direct Debits, etc.), and handling reconciliations.
- Customer Service & Communication: Strong client management skills, with fluent English (Spanish is a plus), and the ability to handle inquiries efficiently.
- Attention to Detail & Accuracy: High level of precision in data entry, transaction validation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of banking regulations, compliance, and risk control, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Problem Solving & Adaptability: Quick to adapt to new tasks, resolve operational issues, and proactively identify and solve problems.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work well with others, coordinate across departments, and provide support when needed.
