About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented Business Analyst with experience in digital banking platforms and payments to join an international bank in central London. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping the bank’s digital customer experience, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver best‑in‑class payment and digital banking solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gather and document requirements for digital banking and payments platforms (e.g., Backbase, nCino, Temenos).
  • Map end‑to‑end customer journeys and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Work closely with UX/UI and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Lead workshops, interviews, and meetings to understand requirements across departments.
  • Assist in the delivery of payment products and services across a range of platforms (SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments, Bacs, CHAPS).
  • Engage with vendors and internal stakeholders to review and validate delivered solutions.
  • Support testing and implementation phases, ensuring seamless handovers and successful go‑live.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong Business Analysis experience within digital banking or payments environments.
  • Understanding of digital banking platforms such as Backbase, nCino, Thought Machine, Mambu, Temenos, Finastra or similar.
  • Familiarity with payment rails (SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments) and regulatory requirements (e.g., PSD2, ISO 20022).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Adept at translating complex ideas for both technical and business audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working in cross‑functional Agile/Scrum teams.
