We are supporting a leading wealth management organisation with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager. This assignment underpins a significant amount of strategic change across the client value stream and will focus on a deep-dive into client data to establish the foundations for wider transformation activity.
The Project Manager will lead an upfront assessment and mobilisation phase focused on the client data landscape. The role will involve understanding complex data sets, establishing clear governance and ownership, defining data quality standards, and ensuring client data is fit for purpose across multiple downstream uses.
Key areas of focus include:
- Client and household data structures
- Data quality, governance, and ownership
- Mapping source data to where and how it is consumed across the business
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a deep-dive into client data sets across the organisation
- Establish and clarify data governance, ownership, and accountability
- Define data quality rules, standards, and controls
- Oversee data analysis and data cleansing activities
- Map source data to downstream consumption and usage
- Support the categorisation of client data (e.g. householding and client hierarchies)
- Engage with stakeholders across data, technology, operations, and business teams
- Provide structured reporting, insight, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Required Experience:
- Proven experience delivering data-focused change initiatives
- Strong technical and data background, ideally within large-scale data transformation programmes
- Experience working with client or consumer data at scale
- Experience within wealth management, asset management, or financial services
- Comfortable operating in complex, regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to data governance, data quality frameworks, or master data management concepts
- Experience supporting initiatives that enable broader strategic or operating model change
