An exciting opportunity for an experienced AWS Architect to work with a leading consultancy on a new piece of work for a pharmaceutical client.

Objectives:

  • Conduct a detailed audit of the client’s existing AWS infrastructure.
  • Design and implement an equivalent architecture in a new AWS environment.
  • Ensure functional, security, and performance parity between environments.
  • Provide clear, well-structured documentation for deployment and ongoing management.
  • Collaborate with internal and client-side stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect (5+ years preferred).
  • Deep expertise in AWS services: VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, Lambda, Route53, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud governance.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies.
  • Experience in replicating or migrating complex multi-account AWS environments.
  • AWS certification(s) strongly preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
  • Experience working with clients in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
