An exciting opportunity for an experienced AWS Architect to work with a leading consultancy on a new piece of work for a pharmaceutical client.
Objectives:
- Conduct a detailed audit of the client’s existing AWS infrastructure.
- Design and implement an equivalent architecture in a new AWS environment.
- Ensure functional, security, and performance parity between environments.
- Provide clear, well-structured documentation for deployment and ongoing management.
- Collaborate with internal and client-side stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect (5+ years preferred).
- Deep expertise in AWS services: VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, Lambda, Route53, CloudFormation, etc.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud governance.
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Experience in replicating or migrating complex multi-account AWS environments.
- AWS certification(s) strongly preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
- Experience working with clients in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
