EA Associates are working with an established and growing civils and groundworks contractor based in Ipswich who are looking to strengthen their operational team with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager. Our client delivers a wide range of civil engineering and groundwork projects across the region, working on schemes including infrastructure works, drainage, earthworks, roads and sewers, foundations, external works and associated civil engineering packages. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking to join a well-respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work and genuine opportunities for long-term progression.

The Role:

  • Overseeing multiple civils and groundworks projects from inception through to completion
  • Managing site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
  • Managing programmes, resources and project costs
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and senior management teams
  • Monitoring quality standards and ensuring works are delivered to specification
  • Producing progress reports and attending regular project meetings

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager within civils, groundworks or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of groundworks, drainage, earthworks and civil engineering packages
