We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction and maintenance contractor, with a long history of delivering high-quality building services from residential and social housing works to commercial projects across the Suffolk and surrounding area. The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trader to support delivery teams by carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks across properties and project sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out general building maintenance and repairs across multiple trades (e.g. carpentry, plastering, decorating, tiling).
  • Supporting responsive and planned maintenance work.
  • Completing snagging tasks and making good to high standards.
  • Working safely and efficiently in occupied properties and live environments.
  • Liaising with site teams, supervisors, clients, and residents in a professional manner.
  • Managing materials, tools, and equipment to complete tasks within schedule.
  • Maintaining tidy, safe work areas and reporting on progress.

About You

You will be a reliable and adaptable tradesperson with experience across multiple trades and a proactive approach to work.

Essential skills & experience:

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Trader, Maintenance Operative, or similar role in a building maintenance / refurbishment environment.
  • Strong multi-trade skills such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, decorating, and general repairs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage your workload effectively.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to job sites in East Anglia.
