Groundworks Site Manager / Foreman

EA Associates are working with a well‑respected groundworks contractor to recruit an experienced Groundworks Site Manager for a new housebuilding project in Suffolk, commencing January 2026.

The successful candidate will oversee day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a permanent opportunity offering long‑term stability with a reputable contractor and a strong pipeline of residential schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all groundworks activities on a busy residential development site
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant and material deliveries
• Ensure work is delivered in line with programme, quality standards and H&S regulations
• Maintain accurate site records, reporting progress and any issues to senior management
• Liaise closely with the client, housebuilder, and internal teams

Requirements

• Proven experience managing groundworks on housebuilding projects
• SMSTS and CSCS qualifications are essential
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage programmes, logistics and site safety to a high standard
