EA Associates are working on behalf of a leading, well-established Essex-based painting and decorating contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager with a strong background in painting & decorating to take ownership of multiple projects and play a key role in the continued success of a respected regional firm.
The Role:
- Managing multiple painting & decorating contracts from tender through to completion
- Overseeing site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Programming works and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Maintaining high standards of quality, health & safety, and client satisfaction
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal management
- Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within painting & decorating (essential)
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential decorating projects
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
- SMSTS and relevant construction qualifications (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
