The Role

An exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established and growing contractor. The role plays a pivotal part in managing commercial project delivery while liaising with site teams, clients, and subcontractors. You\'ll ensure cost efficiency, maintain financial control, and contribute to the smooth execution of healthcare and community construction projects across East Anglia, the Midlands, and the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender documentation, and project budgets.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and payments.
  • Monitor project variations and ensure cost control across all stages of construction.
  • Conduct regular site visits to liaise with on-site teams and maintain budgetary targets.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal design/development teams.

The Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in healthcare or housing construction.
  • Strong knowledge of cost planning, tendering, and post-contract administration.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to live sites across key regions.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
