We are currently recruiting for an experienced Working Supervisor with a strong carpentry background to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality projects across Norwich and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the tools while also leading and motivating a small team on site.
The Role
- Supervising day-to-day site activities while remaining hands-on
- Leading carpentry works and supporting other trades as required
- Coordinating labour, materials, and site progress
- Ensuring works are completed to a high standard, on time and safely
- Acting as the main point of contact on site and liaising with management
- Maintaining health & safety and quality control on site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Working Supervisor or Senior Carpenter
- Strong carpentry background (1st/2nd fix experience preferred)
- Ability to lead and manage operatives on site
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
