We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established building services contractor who are looking for a skilled and versatile Maintenance Multi-Trader to join their team, covering the London and Home Counties areas. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in delivering high-quality work across domestic and commercial properties.
The Role
Working as part of the Installations Team, you\βll be responsible for carrying out multi-trade and handyman tasks to support ongoing projects and remedial works. This will include a wide variety of building fabric repairs, making good, and general maintenance tasks to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out remedial repairs and replacements to building fabric following installation works.
- Completing snagging tasks independently.
- Painting, plastering, brickwork, boxing-in, and pipework insulation.
- General making good to prepare areas for redecoration.
- Ensuring sites are left clean and tidy on completion.
- Collecting/delivering materials to support progress of works.
- Liaising with surveyors and reporting on progress, including photographic updates.
- Complying with health and safety requirements at all times.

About You
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, practical, and able to work with minimal supervision. You\βll have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work carefully and methodically.
Essential skills and experience:
- Qualified by trade (City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 or equivalent).
- Experience across multiple trades such as carpentry, plastering, painting, brickwork, or similar.
- Asbestos awareness.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and to deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience working within social housing, local authority, or commercial environments.
- Training/awareness of working with vulnerable people
