We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 16-week civil engineering project commencing on 15th June. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations on a project involving:

  • Piling works
  • Concrete slab construction
  • Road and infrastructure works
  • Health & Safety management
  • Coordination of subcontractors and site teams
  • Programme management and progress reporting
  • Quality control and compliance with project specifications

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering and groundworks projects
  • Strong background in piling, concrete and road construction works
  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid at Work certificate
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme targets

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of site activities
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification
  • Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Managing health, safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Liaising with the client, project team and subcontractors
  • Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
