EA Associates are currently recruiting 2–3 experienced Shuttering Carpenters for an immediate start on a major commercial new-build project in Ipswich.
Working alongside established Groundworks and Civil Engineering contractors, you'll be involved in a range of shuttering and formwork duties on a busy and well-managed site.
Key Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and formwork plans.
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber, plywood, steel, and aluminium formwork.
- Installing and erecting formwork for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and other concrete structures.
- Ensuring all formwork is accurately aligned, level, and capable of supporting wet concrete safely.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety at all times.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred).
- Previous shuttering carpentry experience.
- Ability to provide references upon request.
- Reliable transport and ability to commute to site daily (accommodation/digs not provided).
