We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction and maintenance contractor with a long history of delivering high-quality building services across residential, social housing, and commercial projects in Suffolk and surrounding areas. The company is known for professionalism, quality workmanship, and strong client relationships.
The Role We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trader to support delivery teams by carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks across properties and project sites.
Responsibilities Carrying out general building maintenance and repairs across multiple trades (e.g. carpentry, plastering, decorating, tiling).
Supporting responsive and planned maintenance work.
Completing snagging tasks and making good to high standards.
Working safely and efficiently in occupied properties and live environments.
Liaising with site teams, supervisors, clients, and residents in a professional manner.
Managing materials, tools, and equipment to complete tasks within schedule.
Maintaining tidy, safe work areas and reporting on progress.
About You You will be a reliable and adaptable tradesperson with experience across multiple trades and a proactive approach to work.
Essential skills & experience Proven experience as a Multi-Trader, Maintenance Operative, or similar role in a building maintenance / refurbishment environment.
Strong multi-trade skills such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, decorating, and general repairs.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage your workload effectively.
Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to job sites in East Anglia.
