Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an Assistant Estimator to join their team based in Billericay.
The Role
As Assistant Estimator, you will support the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions for refurbishment projects. Working closely with senior estimators, project managers, and supply chain partners, you’ll assist in analysing drawings, compiling cost data, and ensuring bids are prepared efficiently and in line with company standards. This role offers excellent progression opportunities within a growing and respected contractor.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and tender documents for refurbishment projects up to £3m.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to support accurate pricing.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
- Support the senior estimating team in bid reviews and tender presentations.
