A respected independent consultancy is looking to appoint an Infrastructure Quantity Surveyor to support the continued growth of its specialist team. The successful candidate will work on a range of infrastructure and enabling works projects, providing commercial expertise from early-stage feasibility through to final account. This position offers significant autonomy, exposure to high-profile schemes and the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with an established client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing infrastructure cost plans and estimates.
  • Advising on project viability and development costs.
  • Managing procurement and tender processes.
  • Cost control, reporting and forecasting.
  • Administration of contracts and management of change.
  • Valuations and agreement of final accounts.
  • Supporting the delivery of highways, drainage, utilities and external works packages.
  • Building effective relationships with clients and project teams.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Experience within infrastructure and/or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability.
  • Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • MRICS status, or aspirations to achieve chartership.
