We are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join our growing team. Chartered status is not essential, however the successful candidate must be confident working independently and unsupervised across a varied workload. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of projects, from initial inspections through to contract administration and completion, across small to medium-sized building and civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and preparing scopes of works for a variety of building projects
- Preparing detailed works schedules with reference to NBS specifications
- Setting up and managing contract documentation using the JCT online platform
- Advising on and implementing appropriate procurement routes for small to medium-sized contracts, including some civil engineering works
- Administering building contracts, including issuing
