We’re looking for a Technical Coordinator to join the BRPD team in a varied role that offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of technical, design and project-related activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in architecture, architectural technology, building surveying, building regulations or technical design who enjoys solving problems, working with technical information and getting involved in different areas of a project. You’ll support the team with technical coordination, reviewing drawings and information, interpreting building regulations and Approved Documents, and helping to ensure projects meet the required technical and regulatory standards. The role will involve working with a range of stakeholders, so good communication and the ability to build positive working relationships are important. We’re particularly interested in candidates who have a good understanding of UK Building Regulations and the Approved Documents, although we’re also open to someone who has a strong technical foundation and is keen to develop their knowledge further. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn. You’ll need to be comfortable asking questions, taking ownership of tasks and working across different areas rather than being limited to one particular discipline. This role could suit an experienced technical professional looking for a broader position, or a junior candidate who has the right foundations and attitude and is looking to develop their career
