Are you an Assistant Project Manager looking for greater variety, more client exposure and the chance to develop your career within a growing consultancy? Our client is an ambitious, multi-disciplinary consultancy experiencing sustained growth across a diverse project portfolio. With specialists spanning multiple disciplines, they deliver projects that genuinely shape the built environment, from education and commercial developments to residential and public sector schemes.

They are now seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team and play a hands-on role in the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. This opportunity would suit someone who has already gained experience within the built environment and is ready to step beyond a purely administrative role. You'll work directly alongside experienced professionals, attend client and site meetings, contribute to project planning and delivery, and build the commercial and technical skills needed to progress your career.

The successful candidate will be naturally organised, proactive and confident communicating with a range of stakeholders. You will enjoy being on site as much as you do coordinating information behind the scenes and will take pride in helping projects run smoothly and efficiently. You'll bring previous experience within the UK built environment sector, an understanding of contract administration principles, strong attention to detail and a genuine enthusiasm for project delivery. Exposure to project programming tools and formal project management qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

In return, you'll join a collaborative team where development is actively encouraged. You'll gain exposure to a broad mix of projects and responsibilities, receive support from experienced colleagues and have genuine scope to grow your career as the business continues to expand.

The package includes:

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience
  • Hybrid working arrangements
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and festive shutdown
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • Death in service benefit
  • Structured opportunities for professional growth and progression
  • Exposure to a varied and interesting project portfolio

If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted with responsibility, encouraged to develop and given the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution from day one, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
