Are you detail-oriented, experienced in handling high volumes, and compassionate? Do you thrive in a team environment? If so, we want you to be part of our mission at British Heart Foundation (BHF)! As an Onboarding Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in guiding new employees through their onboarding journey. This will include sending offers and contracts, compliance checks, inputting personal data onto HR Systems whilst guaranteeing a seamless and positive experience for all new hires. You'll track the status of all new starters and chase any outstanding documentation as needed, ensuring that proposed start dates are met, and you'll keep the hiring managers informed on the onboarding status of their new starters.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • end-to-end onboarding for all new starters.
  • managing any onboarding queries.
  • escalating any issues relating to the offer or screening process.
  • creating new starters on our HR system Workday.
  • liaising with the Technology team to ensure they have the relevant information to get equipment & systems set up.
  • contributing to process improvement projects.

Working arrangements: This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

About you: We are looking for a highly efficient person with a solid understanding of right to work legislation and employment contracts. Your background in Recruitment & Onboarding should include proven experience with Recruitment Application Tracking Systems and HR systems. To be successful in this role you will:

  • have excellent attention to detail.
  • have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • be able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • have strong time management skills and be able to process a high volume of new starters.
  • have previous experience supporting a team and working within a fast-paced team.

Interview process: Please note the first stage interviews will be a one-way video interview answering two role specific questions shortly after the closing date. This will be followed by a panel interview on MS Teams, including a task, due to take place on 15th & 16th January.
