From spare parts and consultancy to full turbine refurbishment, we’re the trusted partner for critical rotating equipment. This role is based at our Netherley facility near Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire, a key hub for our turbine operations and customer support.
Your Role
As a Fitter, you’ll be responsible for the hands‑on repair and overhaul of gas turbines, power turbines, and associated equipment. You’ll work as part of a skilled workshop team, ensuring high standards of engineering, safety, and documentation throughout the build process.
Job Responsibilities
- Strip, inspect, sub‑assemble, and rebuild turbine components.
- Accurately record critical measurements and report non‑conformances.
- Maintain clean and organised workstations, ensuring tooling and chemicals are stored correctly.
- Complete all build documentation and submit for review.
- Support apprentice training and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.
- Input working hours into company systems and assist with non‑conformance reporting.
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar workshop or engineering role.
- Knowledge of gas turbine repair and refurbishment (advantageous).
- Experience in fabrication, repair, or construction environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A team‑oriented, adaptable approach.
