Why This Role Matters

As a Business Consultant for Contracted Retail UK, you'll play a key role in helping our franchise partners thrive. Working collaboratively across our retail network, you'll support partners to grow sustainable, profitable businesses while delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience. By combining commercial insight, relationship building and operational excellence, you'll help bring our retail strategy to life, strengthen our brand and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and network growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with franchisees to develop, implement and review business plans, KPIs and growth strategies that drive sustainable business performance.
  • Analyse commercial and operational performance, providing insight and recommendations on sales, profitability, pricing, service mix and process improvements.
  • Champion retail standards, brand identity and customer experience by conducting audits, monitoring compliance and supporting the implementation of improvement plans.
  • Coach and support franchise partners through training, workshops, best practice sharing and the successful adoption of new programmes, systems and technology.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Training and other internal teams to deliver strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with the Retail EMEA strategy.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and partner feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and network performance.
  • Support franchise network growth through identifying expansion opportunities, onboarding new partners and supporting retention, business transitions and succession planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in retail, sales or business development, with at least three years in a similar role; experience within the automotive or tyre industry is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial, financial and business acumen, with the ability to analyse business performance and translate insights into practical actions.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and demand creation would be advantageous.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • A commercial or business qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
