Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: £15 DOE, Overtime x1.5
Hours: Mon to Fri, Overtime available after 40hours

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder

  • Constructing a range of commercial truck bodies
  • Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately to specification
  • Fitting, assembling, and commissioning bodywork components to meet quality standards
  • Using a range of tools including hand tools, pistol drills, riveters, power tools, and MIG welders (welding experience desired but not essential)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a commercial vehicle bodybuilder, coachbuilder or in a automotive bodybuilding environment preferred
  • Competent in the use of hand and power tools
  • MIG welding experience desirable
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and build specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Positive attitude and strong team ethic
