This position is days-based Monday-Friday, offers a company car, a salary of £55,000 plus an 18% bonus, and provides training and career development with an international market leader in their field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel across the region to provide support to each of the group’s manufacturing sites.
  • Provide ‘hands‑on’ technical support and expertise and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
  • Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition‑based monitoring.
  • Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.

I would love to speak to anyone who has any of the following:

  • Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background.
  • A Mechanical / Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion.
  • Ability to troubleshoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery.
  • Previous experience within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance within industrial manufacturing plant environments.
