Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you an experienced design engineer with strong Solidworks experience? Do you have knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D Manufacturing Drawings mainly focused around bespoke fabrication and sheet metal projects? Are you looking to work for a strong company in a very buoyant design office?

Using a variety of metals including aluminium, mild, and stainless steel, they provide a fully bespoke service from concept to completion.

Key requirements for the Design Engineer role are:

• Strong knowledge of 3D bespoke design, ideally with Solidworks exposure, although other experience with 3D design packages will be considered.
• Prior experience in 2D design for manufacturing drawings and Bill of Materials.
• Experience working with a wide range of metal types.
• Knowledge of working to ISO9001 standards.
• Other office-related tasks.

Salary on offer: circa £35k DOE.
