This is an exciting opportunity to apply for a Mechanical Design Engineer role within an established organisation that produces highly intricate components and assemblies for the Space, Aerospace Defence and Life Science markets. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the design, development, testing, and introduction of new components and systems, while improving existing products.
- Support manufacturing teams and provide technical guidance to non-technical teams
- Prepare technical specifications, develop design standards, and document lessons learned.
- Communicate and present technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Apply and manage company product development processes
- Participate in design checking and peer review, risk assessment and continuous improvement activities
For the Mechanical Design Engineer role, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:
- Experience of working in a Mechanical Design Engineering position
- Knowledge of technical drawing to BS8888
- Degree level qualification in an engineering discipline
- Skills in 3D CAD
Salary and Benefits of the Mechanical Design Engineer role:
