Lead from the Front in a Hands-On Supervisory Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator / Setter Supervisor to join a successful manufacturing business in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled press brake professional to take ownership of a small team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day production.
You’ll be responsible for leading a team of three operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved, quality standards are maintained, and continuous improvement remains at the heart of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery
- Supervise, support, and motivate a team of 3 operatives
- Monitor production performance and quality standards
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspections
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained
- Train, mentor, and develop team members
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience setting and operating CNC press brakes
- Previous supervisory, team leader, or mentoring experience would be ideal, but someone wanting to take to next step in their career would be welcomed and assisted in their progress.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and sheet metal processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Working Hours
Rotating Weekly Shifts:
- Days: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Afternoons: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm
