An established manufacturer in Keighley is recruiting a Production Supervisor to join its Assembly operation. This is a permanent role offering a four-day working week, long weekends, and long-term stability. Due to continued growth and new product introduction, this business requires a hands-on Production Supervisor with a strong Mechanical and/or Electrical Assembly background. This role would suit an experienced Team Leader, Assembly Supervisor, or Manufacturing Supervisor stepping into a Production Supervisor position.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day Assembly operations and meet production targets
- Resolve technical, quality, and production issues on the shopfloor
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement
- Support new product introduction and process improvements
- Monitor scrap, analyse data, and reduce waste
- Plan workloads to meet customer delivery requirements
Production Supervisor Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a Supervisory or Team Leader role
- Technical background in Mechanical and/or Electrical Assembly
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience leading teams of 10+ in manufacturing
- Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis
- Good IT and communication skills
Production Supervisor Package:
- £30,000-£32,000 salary DOE
- Monday to Thursday, 07:00-16:45 (37 hours)
- Permanent role with long-term stability
- Training and development opportunities
This role is based in Keighley, commutable from Bradford, Bingley, Skipton, Ilkley, Shipley, Halifax, and Huddersfield.
