As the Goods In Operative, you will work with a highly respected Engineering organisation that builds complex machinery for well-known organisations who operate in a range of industries, including Online Retail & Distribution and FMCG.
Key Responsibilities of the Goods In Operative:
- Ensuring all incoming purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently to the company's standards and priorities.
- Safe & effective use of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
- Carry out any duties as and when requested by the Progress & Goods In Manager.
- To accurately record all transactions using the in-house IT system.
- To confidently liaise with multiple teams to locate manufactured parts.
Working Hours of the Goods In Operative:
37.5 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift: Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30, Friday - 08:00 to 15:15. Overtime is frequently available midweek and weekend - paid at time & a half.
In return, the Goods In Operative will receive:
- Starting Salary: £27,300.00 / £14.00 per hour.
- Holiday Allowance: 33 Days (25 days + public holidays).
- Long Term Incentive Plans.
- Scottish Widows Pension Scheme: Up to 10% combined contributions.
- Private Health Plan (Westfield).
