Location of the Assembly Fitter position: Nelson
This is a hands-on role focused on building, fitting and developing bespoke machinery and tooling, working from engineering drawings through to final build.
Duties of the Assembly Fitter position:
- Work to detailed engineering drawings
- Manufacture components using manual milling machines, lathes and grinders
- Assemble and develop tooling and special purpose machinery
- Assist with machine build, development and maintenance
- Support fault-finding and final build
- Occasional customer site visits when required
