Working in the Service Department, the successful Mechanical Technician will work within a skilled team and be responsible for servicing, repairing and overhauling industrial gearboxes to an OEM condition. This employer is based near CUMBERNAULD, meaning the successful candidate will easily be able to commute from various parts of Glasgow & Falkirk.
The ideal Mechanical Technician will possess:
- Formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or similar (Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC, HND or equivalent)
- Stable work history with experience working as a Mechanical Technician, Fitter, Assembler or similar within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience working with some form of rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, valves, compressors, turbines, fans or similar
