Due to continued demand for their services, this employer is actively searching for a number of Mechanical Pump Technicians to join their team on a permanent basis. The Birmingham-based workshop is easily commutable from surrounding towns and cities.
For the Mechanical Pump Technician role, we are searching for individuals who possess:
- Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND, BTEC or similar) - ideal but not essential
- A strong level of experience working in a similar role, such as Maintenance Fitter, Service Engineer, Mechanical Technician, etc.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with Rotating Equipment/Machinery - ideally Pumps, but candidates with experience in Gearboxes, Turbines, Compressors, Valves, Fan Systems or Generators will also be considered
Working Hours:
- Regular day shifts working 40 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:45
- Friday - 07:00 to 14:30
Basic Package:
- Starting Salary: Up to £42,588.00 (£21.00 per hour) depending on experience
- Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays
- Annual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum - subject to company performance
- Pension Scheme: 9% Combined Contribution (5% Employer / 4% Employee)
