Mechanical Design Engineer required for a 5th generation engineering business with a global reputation as a leading supplier of deliverables to Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Defence, Subsea and Marine Industries.
This role is located in BRADFORD, meaning the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be easily able to commute from surrounding areas including Bradford, Horsforth, Guiseley, Birstall, Morley and Shipley.
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer will include:
- Work collaboratively with a team of Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineers
- Design innovative new products as solutions to customer needs
- Develop existing product ranges using a deep understanding of customer usage and requirements
- Manage design processes as individual projects ensuring they mature through processes in a timely manner
For the role of Mechanical Design Engineer we are keen to receive applications from individual who have:
- A minimum of three years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in an Engineering Environment
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- High level competency using SolidWorks, MS Office and numeracy
- Good working knowledge of Pressure Equipment and Machineries Directives.
Salary & Benefits:
- £40,000 to £45,000 (depending on experience)
- 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
- Mon to Thur 07:30am – 4pm
- Fri 07:30am – 12:30pm
- Up to 6% Company Pension contributions
- Profit Share Scheme
