Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm, full training and ongoing support provided to further develop your skill set. Full-time permanent position, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, bonus scheme, and excellent long-term career prospects. Basic salary up to £17.00 per hour for the Vehicle Body Builder, depending on experience, with salary reviews and progression opportunities based on skills development and performance.

Location of the Vehicle Body Builder position: Manchester

The Vehicle Body Builder is working for a company that have an extensive order book with plenty of overtime available and bonus opportunities. They are a leading name in their sector that have a reputation for quality and innovation.

What background you will have?

  • Ideally, you will have worked in some capacity building or repairing vehicles: Trailers, busses ambulances, motor homes, vans.
  • Have relevant qualifications (not essential)

Duties of the Vehicle Body Builder position:

  • Fitting and installing vehicle flooring, side panels, brackets, and other components.
  • Carrying out light fabrication work to required specifications.
  • Completing light assembly tasks as part of the vehicle build process.
  • Reading and following engineering drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to quality standards and production deadlines.
  • Always maintaining a safe and tidy work area.
  • Supporting the build of vehicles from initial assembly through to final completion.
