A hands-on, maintenance-focused role with a leading, well-invested food manufacturer where you’ll be part of an engineering team playing a key role in the success of the plant. About the Role

  • Providing a high level of maintenance service across the site, responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Completing planned maintenance and regular equipment checks to improve reliability and performance.
  • Identifying and remedying recurring issues and faults, and supporting predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Supporting the wider engineering team on site improvement projects and proactively looking for new, improved ways of working.

About You

  • Apprentice-trained (electrical or mechanical), preferably with HNC/ONC, or equivalent engineering experience.
  • Experience of planned and reactive maintenance, ideally gained in a food, drink, or FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
