A well-established manufacturing organisation based at its head office in Dewsbury is seeking an experienced Pipework Inspector to join its engineering and integrity team on a permanent basis. This is a site-based role with no travel required, offering long-term stability within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Salary and Benefits of the Pipework Inspector:
- Annual Salary Between £40,000 - £45,000
- Early finish every Friday (1:30pm)

The Role of Pipework Inspector:
As a Pipework Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, safety and compliance of pipework systems across the manufacturing site. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspection and assessment of pipework systems in line with company procedures and industry standards
- Supporting and maintaining written schemes of examination (WSEs)
- Inspecting new, existing and modified pipework installations
- Identifying corrosion, erosion, fatigue and other degradation mechanisms
- Producing clear inspection reports with findings and recommendations
- Liaising with engineering, maintenance and operations teams
- Ensuring compliance with relevant UK legislation and best practice
- Maintaining accurate inspection and asset integrity records
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Pipework Inspector within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of pipework integrity and inspection techniques
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation (e.g. PSSR)
- High attention to detail with a strong safety focus
