A leading Automotive Engineering business is recruiting for a Welder Fabricator/Fitter. This is a varied role, which includes mechanical fitting, fabrication and welding.
The ideal candidate would be able to MIG and TIG (however the company would be able to train someone in TIG welding if they wanted to learn this skill).
Key Duties of the Fitter/Welder Fabricator position:
- MIG/TIG working predominately with Mild Steel, Stainless Steel
- Fabrication of Mounting brackets
- Fit and install, commission and test equipment fitted to vehicles on or off-site
Desirable work experience with:
- Hydraulic or pneumatic systems
- Worked within the Automotive sector
We would be very keen to speak to people who have experience welding and working in the following roles: HGV Technician, Plant Fitter, Hydraulic engineer, Vehicle technician, Forklift truck engineer.
