As an Environmental Advisor, you will be accountable for ensuring compliance across the site, maintaining documentation and providing specialist support to the wider SHE team. You will play a key role in monitoring, inspections, audits and risk assessments, while working closely with regulatory bodies and supporting continuous improvement.
Environmental Advisor Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and site standards.
- Conduct inspections, monitoring and risk assessments, ensuring recommendations are followed through.
- Act as a key liaison with the Environment Agency and facilitate external ISO accreditation audits.
- Analyse data and produce reports to support compliance and site performance.
- Provide training, coaching and advice to colleagues across the site.
We are seeking an Environmental professional with a science-based qualification and experience working within an industrial environment. You will have experience with an overseeing Management Systems alongside knowledge of Permitting Regulations, UK ETS and Waste Regulations.
