Monday-Friday, 6:00am-5pm, 1 hour, lunch break, 31days Holiday Increased Entitlement with Service An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Crane Engineer to join a well-established specialist engineering business providing servicing, repair and installation of lorry-loader cranes and vehicle-mounted lifting equipment. Duties of the HGV Crane Engineer Working across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems, you will be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining and repairing lorry-loader and truck-mounted lifting equipment Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults. Working on pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses and hydraulic control systems. Fault-finding on 24V electrical, CAN bus and electronic control systems. Carrying out planned servicing and reactive breakdown repairs. Installing, wiring, testing and commissioning new systems. Completing inspections, testing and LOLER-related work where qualified. Mechanical repairs, component replacement and occasional fabrication/welding. Providing technical support and equipment handovers to customers. Field based and workshop-based roleWe would welcome people to apply for the HGV Crane Engineer that have: Previous experience working with cranes, lifting equipment, hydraulics, HGV equipment or vehicle-mounted machinery is required.
