We are seeking a reliable and proactive HGV Compound Driver to join our Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) team in Warwick. If you enjoy driving, vehicle handling, and working in a fast-paced yard environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Role Details:

  • Location: Warwick
  • Salary: Up to £16.66ph / £34,652 DOE
  • Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 15:30, Friday 06:00 - 11:00

About the Role:

As an HGV Compound Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring our vehicles are delivered, moved, and prepared efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving and delivering HGVs to local storage depots
  • Shunting vehicles safely around the yard and factory
  • Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and completing associated paperwork
  • Keeping vehicles clean, organised, and road-ready
  • Working closely with production and internal teams to ensure smooth operations

What We Are Looking For:

  • HGV Class 2 licence with relevant driving experience (essential)
  • Previous experience in HGV driving, yard operations, or vehicle handling
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic

The ideal candidate will have worked as a vehicle mover in a compound or driver for auction or dealership. If you have also worked as an HGV driver and are wanting something different then please apply.
