Outside IR35 Contract Opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager! A globally leading chemical manufacturer based in the Runcorn area is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team on a contract basis to lead Health and Safety on their site. They are renowned for their commitment to delivering innovative products that add value to their customers' businesses. With continuous growth driven by recent development and investment, it is an exciting time to join their team as a Health and Safety Manager at their Upper-Tier COMAH site.

Role of the Health and Safety Manager

The key purpose of the SHE Manager is to manage all regulatory risks and to ensure compliance is in order. The SHE Manager will manage the SHE activities of the site and will develop and deliver solutions through driving actions for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager:

  • Lead the development of Safety, Health, and Environmental performance to support continuous improvement and ensure the company meets its annual HSE performance targets.
  • Develop Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards to provide clear leadership and ensure effective implementation and execution.
  • Develop, manage, and regularly review the annual audit program to ensure effective execution and the identification of continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Provide an independent perspective and lead HSE investigations to ensure a consistent and thorough approach.
