We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality to join one of the UK’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. This permanent position offers the Head of Quality the opportunity to work with a company dedicated to investing in your career and personal development. As the Head of Quality, you will oversee daily operations within the quality assurance department, ensuring compliance with quality standards, cGMP requirements, and FDA/MHRA regulations. Responsibilities of the Head of Quality: Manage and oversee the planning and control of daily activities within the quality assurance department, ensuring timely product release with the authority to approve, reject, and release intermediates and ingredients. Collaborate with regulatory bodies to provide input on product registration requirements and complete annual review reports. Provide expertise and support on quality and cGMP compliance processes to senior leaders ensuring efficient product release with minimal rejects, complaints, and recalls. Provide leadership and management to the wider quality and compliance team. A degree in Chemistry or a related quality discipline is essential. A solid technical background with experience in Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and cGMP standards. In-depth knowledge of FDA and MHRA regulatory requirements.
