DAYS ONLY Maintenance Electrician, Monday to Friday, bonus and overtime at enhanced rates. Join a well-established manufacturing business as a Maintenance Electrician. Due to increased production demand, they are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join their maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician seeking long-term stability, ongoing training, overtime opportunities and career development within a busy production environment.

Requirements as a Maintenance Electrician:
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification is essential.
- Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial environment is essential.
- Experience working with automation equipment and three-phase electrical system is essential.
- Three-phase experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
Roles and responsibilities of a Maintenance Electrician:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment.
- Provide maintenance support across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise production downtime.
- Follow isolation, lock-off and site safety procedures at all times.
- Complete maintenance documentation and maintenance records accurately.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency, productivity and reliability.
- Assist with maintenance projects and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
Location - Sussex area (commutable from Haywards Heath, Uckfield, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead, Lewes, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Hove, Newick, Crowborough, Heathfield and surrounding areas).
This position would suit a Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Shift Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician.
