E3 Recruitment is looking to recruit x 3 Production Operatives, to join a well-established leading manufacturing business at its facility in the Birtley area of Chester-le-Street. Within this position, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing machinery and the manual packing of products. Full training is provided for operating machinery specific to this role. What\’s in it for you as a Production Operative? * Pay rate of £11.44ph with overtime paid a premium * Hours of work: Monday – Friday DAYS ONLY 6AM – 2PM (early finish Friday at 1PM) * 39 hours a week * Overtime paid at a premium of 1.5x and 2x * Location: Birtley * Full training and development, including FLT license * On-going temp to perm opportunity with a well-established PLC manufacturer. Duties of Production Operative: * Manual handling and the use of mechanical lifting aids * Operating production machinery * Hand blending * Cleaning of moulds * Preparing product mixes * The manual packing and movement of heavy products * 5S\’s general housekeeping * Work following local Health & Safety Standards. Requirements of the Production Operative: * Ideally worked within a production environment * Operating production machinery and lifting heavy materials * A Forklift Truck license is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
