About the Role We are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to manage the day-to-day administrative, financial, membership and operational activities of a professional Dental Society. Working closely with Council officers, members, sponsors and external partners, you will support governance, maintain accurate records, manage digital content and coordinate professional events, including webinars, study days and the annual conference. Key Responsibilities * Financial Administration: Manage invoices, expenses, direct debits, financial records and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks. * Membership Management: Process new memberships, manage renewals and payments, maintain membership databases and respond to enquiries. * Governance & Council Support: Coordinate Council and AGM meetings, prepare minutes and support Charity Commission compliance. * Website & Digital Management: Update website content, manage event booking pages and upload webinar recordings and speaker information. * Event Coordination: Organise webinars, study days and the annual conference, including venue liaison, speaker coordination, delegate management, sponsorship and logistics. * CPD Administration: Issue CPD certificates and support event-related administration. * Stakeholder Management: Liaise with Council officers, members, sponsors, venues, publishers, accountants and technical providers. * General Administration: Manage correspondence, prioritise deadlines and ensure efficient Society operations. Essential Requirements * Previous experience in a professional administrative or coordination role. * Financial administration experience, including invoicing, expenses and accurate record-keeping. * Good IT skills, including financial software such as QuickBooks, CMS platforms and membership databases. * Experience coordinating meetings, events or conferences. * Strong minute-taking and written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. * A professional, reliable and proactive approach, with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. Desirable Experience * Experience within a dental, medical, academic or professional membership organisation. * Knowledge of charity governance and compliance. * Experience with CPD administration, webinars, conference coordination or sponsor engagement.
