About the role

Sulzer's Leeds facility is a global centre of excellence for the design, manufacture and service of advanced pump technology.

Serving critical industries including energy, water, chemicals and infrastructure, our Leeds site plays a key role in delivering complex engineered solutions to customers worldwide.

Following significant investment in our facilities, technology and capabilities, we're continuing to grow and are looking for a Project Scheduler to join our Planning & Scheduling team.

What will you be doing?

As a Project Scheduler, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules across a range of complex engineer-to-order projects.

Working alongside Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement Specialists and Manufacturing teams, you'll ensure projects are accurately planned, risks are identified early and progress remains on track.

This is a highly visible role where your planning expertise will help drive successful project delivery and provide confidence to both customers and internal stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in project scheduling, planning or project controls.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing or project-based industries.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships across multiple teams.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to challenge and influence when required.
  • Experience within engineer-to-order manufacturing, heavy engineering or rotating equipment industries would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Flexible Working

This role is primarily site-based in Leeds to support close collaboration with our operational teams.

We also offer flexible working arrangements, including ad-hoc home working where appropriate, together with a 37-hour working week and flexi-time scheme.
