We engineer some of the world's most advanced pumping solutions for critical applications across energy, water, infrastructure, industrial processing and emerging technologies.
Our Leeds facility is a global centre of excellence for the design, engineering and manufacture of highly specialised pumps and pumping systems.
From bespoke, large-scale engineered solutions to complex rotodynamic technologies, our teams tackle some of the most demanding technical challenges in the industry.

- Key Duties
- Assemble, build and fit complex centrifugal pump assemblies and associated equipment in line with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Carry out mechanical fitting activities including bearing installation, shaft assembly, impeller fitting, seal installation and final pump build.
- Interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly of components.
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances and alignment
What We're Looking For
- Time-served Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembly Technician, or equivalent mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
- Experience assembling rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, turbines or similar precision-engineered machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, mechanical assembly equipment and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical tolerances, fits, alignments and assembly techniques.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or heavy industrial environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent attention to detail.
