E1 Partners is working with a growing energy supply business to appoint a Senior Energy Trading Analyst. This is a key role supporting trading strategy across the UK power and gas markets. You’ll work closely with traders and commercial teams to deliver insights, enhance models, and support the structuring of energy products and PPAs. This role suits someone with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in wholesale energy markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse UK power and gas market fundamentals to identify trading opportunities
- Support price forecasting, market modelling, and risk analysis
- Deliver actionable insights via dashboards, reports, and market commentary
- Provide commercial input on structured energy products and PPAs
- Collaborate on data architecture and tools development
- Contribute to mentoring junior analysts (with potential for line management)
Experience required:
- 3+ years' experience in UK or European energy markets (trading, commercial, or analytics)
